A popular choice of dancers, this class is for older kids that would like to focus only on tumbling. There is no prerequsite skill requirement any more as it will focus on anything your child is ready for from kickovers to layout fulls. Each child will receive a unique assignment each session to help them reach their goals.
This class has a bit more of an acro feel. A front and back walkover (or close) are prerequisites to this class. I adapt this class to the kids taking it, but some skills of focus are walkover and cartwheel variations, aerials, handsprings, headsprings, kipups.
A popular choice of dancers, this class requires a strong cartwheel and handstand and will focus on everything from backbends to back walkovers depending on where your child is at. This class is 45 minutes and has a wide age range from 5-10. I recommend starting younger ones (5-6 years old) in gymnastics instead of tumbling to gain strength and flexibility to help with the tumbling only classes.
